This was a very enlightening presentation and the title could not have been better. Shalaev’s research is truly remarkable because he has taken what has been portrayed in science fiction as something beyond science for so many years, and revealed that it takes pure science to achieve such things. I believe the true brilliance of this presentation relies on the fact that he shows that there is still a lot of work to be done; however, there is great potential in this research. This is definitely a look into the future and I recommend that ““anyone”“ with even a passing interest in science watch this.
