Winny Dong Dr. Winny Dong is a Professor in Chemical and Materials Engineering. Since joining Cal Poly Pomona in 2000, Winny has focused her efforts on creating an environment where all faculty and students can develop their strengths. She is proud to see that some of these efforts have resulted in an improved campus climate and increased access to high-quality education for all students.

Winny is currently the Director of the McNair Scholars Program, the Director of Projects and Undergraduate Research for the College of Engineering, a Co-PI on an NSF STEP grant to increase graduation rates in STEM, and serves on the Cal Poly Pomona Foundation’s Executive Board.
