Abstract

Nanofluidics exercise showing the variation of energy and position of methane and butane molecules flowing through an opened carbon nanotube as the system temperature and the length of the nanotube are varied.

The exercise is divided into two parts. In the first part, based on the variation of these parameters, the output obtained is analyzed. In the second part, the results of the same simulations run for a longer time period are analyzed in detail.
