Description: | Professor Neil Gershenfeld, "The Intellectual Father of the Maker Movement" and director of the Center for Bits and Atoms at MIT, opens the Purdue Engineering Distinguished Lecture Series on Thursday, October 18. His research studies are predominantly focused on interdisciplinary studies involving physics and computer science, in such fields as quantum computing, nanotechnology, and personal fabrication. This lecture is free and open to the public. |
