Typical value of exchange bias field in interface coupling ?

It is possible to use exchange bias coupling to create a domain wall in a thin permalloy strip ? and what value of exchange bias field are usually achievable ?

Thank you in advance.

Q1: It is possible to use exchange bias coupling to create a domain wall in a thin permalloy strip?

A: If antiferromagnet is the multidomain state, it might be able to create a domain wall in the ferromagnet. Owing to the coupling of FM and AFM, FM could be the multidomain state.

Q2: What value of exchange bias field are usually achievable ?

A: In the Pt/Co/IrMn system, the exchange bias can up to 1000 Oe. For in-plane ferromagent (ex: CoFe/PtMn system), the exchange bias can easily larger than 100 Oe.
