intraband transitions- quantum dot lab
Regarding the Quantum dot lab,I have a question. I want to put the simulations in my thesis, so i must be sure that my understanding is correct. The software is using a single band model.So that means can i simulate “intraband transitions” in conduction band if i substitute electron effective mass?

yes indeed, in quantum dot lab you can currently only model a single band electronic structure – to be specific in the conduction band. You can enter different effective masses in the tool now after some code modifications.
