It will be handy to be ably to modify the starting points for the k-space to points other than the high symmetry ones. his can be done by editing/inserting the k-vector with  check through the software. For example modifying a starting L point to something like (0.4999,0.5001,0.5) will enable the calculation of the transverse effective mass along the LAMBDA line in III-V material such as GaAs.
