Trip to Argonne, Spring 2009

NCN@Purdue SLC is organizing a trip to Argonne National Lab in Chicago this Spring. The trip is free for NCN affiliated students at Purdue. All transportation and lunch expenses shall be paid by the NCN. We will board the vehicles on Purdue campus in the morning and return by night. Argonne shall provide us a tour of their facilities. This trip includes a tour of the following facilities:
Center for Nanoscale Materials
Argonne Leadership Computing Facility
Advanced Photon Source
Argonne Tandem Linac Accelerator System

IMPORTANT REMINDER: All international students who submitted a copy each of the passport, visa and I-20 to Argonne for approval NEED TO CARRY ALL THOSE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS in person on the day of the visit.

Argonne tour – 10:00am-12:30pm
Lunch – 1:15pm-2:00pm
Chicago sightseeing – 2:00pm-5:00pm
Return – 5:30pm
