Professor Mehmet C. Ozturk received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering in 1980 from Bogazici University in Istanbul Turkey. He received his MS degree also in Electrical Engineering in 1983 from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan. He continued his graduate studies at NC State University in Raleigh, NC under Jimmy Wortman receiving his PhD degree in 1988. He joined the faculty in his department after graduation. He is currently serving as a professor at NC State teaching courses on semiconductor physics, devices and nanofabrication.
