Bio
Dr. Jen Rice joins the OTM having received a PH.D. in Microbiology at the University of Illinois. Jen graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. For her doctoral studies, Jen researched bacterial gene regulation by nucleic acids and participated in the NIH Infection Biology training program. Jen has presented her research at various scientific conferences and has published her research in peer reviewed journals.
Jen contributes technology transfer experience to the OTM. Prior to being an Associate Technology Manager, Jen was a Commercialization Analyst Intern in the OTM. Her duties as a Commercialization Analyst Intern involved assessing markets for new inventions, contributing to the evaluation of new technologies for patentability and licensing potential and composing marketing materials.
Jen is a Technology Manager with a focus on life sciences.
