Who are the courses for?
The courses are tailored towards predominantly three user types:
-
Experimentalists in industry
-
Students of all levels
-
Experiences modelers who are new to Schrödinger software
Prerequisites: the courses assume basic knowledge of chemistry, physics, and computers. There is no coding necessary - the courses are performed entirely in the GUI (graphical-user interface)
Format: six courses, which can be taken individually or bundled together; courses run for six week sessions, asynchronous and self-paced, via an online interface. The learning content includes case studies, videos, and hands-on tutorials.
Software access: participants will be given access to a web-based interface equipped with Materials Science Maestro and CPU & GPU resources for the duration of the course session to perform hands-on molecular modeling tasks; only a browser with high-speed internet access is needed to participate in the course
Accreditation: completion of a course can result in a certificate and badge - up to 6 total
When are courses offered?
The courses are offered every 2-3 months. The next session runs June 21 through August 2, 2023.
