If you want to simulate only L-valleys in the 111 direction, it is okay to use this tool to simulate III-V materials by properly setting the effective masses. For other cases, it is not recommended. One can still refer to the paper by Rahman et al, JAP, 97, 053702, 2005 and use the effective masses quoted in the paper, but one should beware that the effective masses are approximated ones if valley direction are not aligned with transport direction.
