To change the privacy settings of some or all of your user profile fields, first log into nanoHUB with your account and password. Open the "Logged in" menu at the top of the page and choose the "Profile" option.

Each field has an "Edit" link next to it. Click the link. Fields with privacy controls feature a drop down menu with three options: 

1. Private - only you will be able to see this information
2. Registered - only users who have logged in will be able to see this information
3. Public - Anyone will be able to see this information

Select the desired privacy setting and then click the "Save" button. Note that a few fields, such as name and username, have no privacy controls.

Settings that are private will have a closed lock icon. Settings that are public will have no lock icon.
