Description

Electro-magnetics is one of the four fundamental interactions of nature, along with strong interaction, weak interaction and gravitation. It is the force that causes the interaction between electrically charged particles; the areas in which this happens are called electromagnetic fields.

Courses (1-2 of 2)

  1. TANMS/MESA Introduction to Principles and Application of Electromagnitism

    Courses | 15 May 2023 | Contributor(s):: TANMS UCLA

    In this course students apply principles of science and math, and the engineering design process towards developing two projects related to various disciplines in engineering and concepts of electromagnetism.

  2. Metamaterials: A New Paradigm of Physics and Engineering

    Courses | 01 May 2008 | Contributor(s):: Vladimir M. Shalaev

    Three part lecture on metamaterials. Metamaterials are expected to open a gateway to unprecedented electromagnetic properties and functionality unattainable from naturally occurring materials, thus enabling a family of new “meta-devices”. In these three lectures, we review this new emerging field...
