Most simulation tools are open to anyone in the world. However, there are a few circumstances in which a tool might be restricted to a certain subset of users.
- Due to the way the underlying software is licensed, may be restricted to users on Purdue University's West Lafayette campus.
- Some tools use encryption or other technologies that are subject to export restrictions. These tools are restricted to users in particular countries.
- Tools like Workspace are restricted to tool developers, NCN PIs, or NCN partner institutions.
If you feel that you should be able to access a restricted tool, please click the "Help" link in the upper-right corner of the nanoHUB website and submit a ticket.
