| Biography | Zhi Tang is currently a Mechanical Engineering doctoral student in Prof. Aluru's group at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received both his M. S and B. S. in Thermal Engineering from Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) in 2001 and 1998, respectively. His current research interests include modeling, computational analysis and design of nano- and microelectromechanical systems (NEMS/MEMS) and other multiscale, multiphysics systems, computational nano- and micromechanics of materials, numerical methods, algorithms and high performance computing. |
