| Biography | Phillip Fiorini, senior communications and marketing specialist for Purdue University's Discovery Park. A 20-year veteran journalist, Fiorini worked as an editor and reporter for newspapers in Washington, D.C, Florida, Illinois, Texas and Indiana before joining Purdue in 2005. His list of newspapers includes USA Today, Florida Today, Amarillo Daily News, Lafayette Journal and Courier and the Jacksonville, Fla., Times-Union. He has taught news writing and communications during his professional career, working in conjunction with faculty at Northwestern University, Purdue and other universities. He has a bachelor's of science degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. |
